USB Christmas Gift Ideas

Although we’re only in October its time to start thinking about whether you are going to send out any Christmas gifts to your customers, clients and staff. Leave it much later and you may struggle to get exactly what you want and more importantly you might struggle to get your Christmas gifts printed with your logo and any message you might want on the gift.

With the economy showing some signs, albeit weak ones, of recovery it’s a difficult decision whether to send Christmas gifts at all. But, if you are looking for a way to say “thank you” to your customers for the business they have given you over the year or you perhaps want to remind potential customer of who you are and what services you can offer them then an appropriate gift at Christmas can work wonders.

With staff the motivation for giving a gift at Christmas is normally to acknowledge the hard work and effort they have put in during the year and to encourage them to repeat their efforts during the coming year. It might be that you decide to reward certain individuals or a team(s) that have performer particularly well rather than every member of staff. Either way a “thank you” at Christmas is generally recognised to have a positive effect on staff morale.

Having decided to give a gift the next challenge is what to buy. Perennial favourites include hampers, drinks and chocolates but increasingly companies that give gifts to customers and prospects are looking for something that carries their brand, has some longevity and will generate a bit of a “buzz” or “wow” factor when opened. When giving gifts to staff branding is obviously less of a requirement!

This year we expect to see more electronic gifts and gadgets being given away including lots of USB memory sticks and USB gadgets. USB memory sticks printed with your company logo and pre-loaded with a Christmas message are a brilliant idea because not only are you giving away something that has a high perceived value and will definitely be used but you are giving away something that will promote your brand on an on-going basis. If you really want to push the boat out you could pre-load onto the branded USB memory sticks a short video message, an animated message or a message of thanks from a few key executives within your company. These messages can be set up to “auto-run” so they “pop-up” and play when the USB memory stick is connected to any PC or Mac.

USB Christmas trees and USB Snowmen are a little more “kitsch” but are nevertheless great fun and are definitely better than a standard Christmas card or diary. Question by Me: How can I get less spam messages. Since Christmas I have started receiving a lot of unwanted messages.?
I have some filters setup but this problem has just started and I didn’t have it before. I have had my account for a couple of years so what has changed?
