Job Summary: Weekend shift Computer Operator; Provides monitoring of enterprise-wide computer systems operations on multiple platforms to ensure system performance and availability meets service level agreements. Provides first and second tier support for systems. Adheres to established procedures and demonstrates solid knowledge of server/mainframe fundamentals to ensure timely recovery of system outages. Functional Responsibilities: Provides operation and monitoring of enterprise-wide systems, comprising multi-technology computing platforms including mainframe and various flavors of servers, to ensure a stable operating environment for maximum service availability and performance. Following standard operating procedures, performs level 1 problem determination; researches problems reported by the Help Desk; performs triage as appropriate. Maintains documentation and works to follow-up with open incidents and problems.
